We are a married couple (both in our early 30s) from Canada, who are experiencing primary infertility. The issues seem to lie with me: hubby has super sperm, apparently. I have been given a diagnosis of PCOS and slightly elevated thyroid. This is our story of trying to get preggers.
How do I follow your blog my dear? Not familiar with Word Press and can’t find a link.
Hi! Up near the top left corner of the window, you should see the word “Follow” with a plus sign inside of a circle. Click that…and that should do the trick!
Hey! So happy to meet a fellow 416-er… and is the Van short for your first name? ‘Cause if so, then we have even more in common. 🙂 Crossing my fingers for you over these next 10 days or so — I’m clearly finding your blog at a critical moment!
You are quite the detective! I kind of love that there’s another Van out there on this crappy IF path. It’s not a lot of fun, but it’s opened up a whole new world of amazing bloggers who are super supportive.
Your clinic sounds REALLY different from mine. You’re getting all kinds of stuff done that I’ve never even heard of. It’s funny, too, that you said your doctor referred to Day 3 transfers as “so last year”, while my doctor said that clinics who don’t do them are “draconian”. What in the world?
Glad to have found you! Wishing for only good things 🙂
Thank you for taking the time to write this blog. I actually managed to get preggers after 2 years of trying with no treatment (I hate doctors!) on my own but lost it at 10 weeks and it was devastating.
I’m still reading posts from June 2012 but so much of what you went through is what I’m currently going through and it’s great to know I’m not alone as I feel.
