In an effort to motivate myself, I’m going to document the two major lifestyle changes I’m making for fertility, as well as just general health. These changes are:

  • Diet: I am beginning to adopt a (mostly vegan) clean eating diet. My first big challenge will be giving up processed sugar. I’ll keep a diet journal here in an effort to keep myself on track, and maybe it might be of use to someone else who wants to try this.
  • Exercise: I am a major couch potato, especially over the summer holiday months when I’m not teaching. In an effort to get myself moving, I am attempting the TurboFire exercise program. We’ll see how long it lasts. I’m also interested in the Couch to 5k program. I’ve read about other people’s experiences with this, and they seem to be able to do it. My knees sometimes don’t like running, but maybe when it starts to get cooler I’ll give it a try. I also do restorative yoga for fertility, and I really like it.
